This outfit is the reason why I love having a capsule closet. I have 80% less clothes than I have ever had before (thanks to being full-time travelers), and yet, I feel like I’ve had more options for outfits than I have ever had. Every outfit feels so effortless and chic. 90% of the time, I end up wearing the very first outfit I put on, because everything pairs perfectly.

Curating your own capsule closet takes time. It look about a year to get mine exactly where I wanted it. But as people and professionals, our style is constantly evolving. I’m sure moving to Charleston will change my style and closet as well. Certainly less winter wear and more polished shift dresses for the insane summer humidity I keep hearing about. I am no longer just a blogger. I manage employees and a business and that has absolutely affected the way I dress. I want to be polished, but never stuffy or overly formal.
This is a great example of my daily uniform now, where I am in my life, at 24. I work remotely 95% of the time, but I find myself shooting blog pictures and being in Skype meetings daily. It is easy, practical and yet I feel stylish. Isn’t that the goal?!
If you break it down, I’m wearing a T-shirt, boyfriend blazer, coated pants and flats. Yet, if I ran into someone important, I would feel confident.
