What I’m Wearing to My Bachelorette Party

IMG_0149

With only 108 days until the big day (not like I’m counting or anything), I find myself needing a whole bunch of white outfits. Besides the wedding itself, there are showers, rehearsals, brunches and of course, the bachelorette party. I’ve never been fond of bodycon dresses, so a feminine crochet romper seemed like the perfect alternative. This one from The Mint Julep Boutique is perfect!

At the end of this post, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite white rompers at all price points. Because bride or not, you need one for summer!

I’m not one to drink a lot or go clubbing and me and my girls have been trying to think of a fun activity for my bachelorette party. Do any of you have any ideas?

  2. Hey Brenna!

At my bachelorette, my sister organized a game where each girl brought lingerie and I had to guess who gave me which pieces. It was a lot of fun because there was a good mix of goofy gifts (aka pieces of underwear I would never wear) and classy lingerie. As I’m not one to think to buy those items myself, it was a nice treat to receive so many items right before the wedding. Plus, it was a lot of fun trying to decide who gave me what!

We rented a house for the weekend, which had a great porch for us to sit and relax on for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the afternoon–perfect as not all of my girls were super into going to bars/dancing (which we also did, because we were in Nashville). This was a great time to catch up, especially since I don’t live within easy traveling distance of many of my close friends.

Also, one of my friends is a yoga instructor, and she led a yoga class outside for us one morning, which was awesome!

Hope these help, and hope yours goes well!

My friend had a wine tasting and painting party. After we painted we went to the hostess’s third floor home theatre and sang karaoke. Will your friends come to you in Seattle? Road trip to California? Napa maybe?

  5. Do a day at the spa! My best friend is getting married and we aren’t really into the whole clubbing scene so we are heading to a hotel and spa for a full day of pampering and champagne and a fun slumber party that evening!
