Trench Dress + Over The Knee Boots
I firmly believe that the trench coat is one of the most iconic and classic pieces you can have in your closet. I always love a menswear-inspired piece, and the trench coat in particular is 100% my style and strikes an undeniably chic note.
I have many different versions of trenches in my arsenal: some flared, some short, some long. I even own a trench vest, which I absolutely love and has gotten a lot of use over the past 5 years.
Now, I’m pretty pleased to have added a trench dress to my closet. The trench dress combines everything I love about a trench coat (think timeless, pulled-together #ladyboss vibes) and dresses, which are a one-and-done piece. So effortless!
For the transitional, wishy-washy weather that makes up 60% of a Charleston “winter,” over-the-knee boots and light layers like a trench are perfect. In my opinion, this is the best type of weather to dress for — bring on the chic layers!
P.S. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen my Story: Our offer was accepted and we are now closing on a beautiful 5-acre property in Charleston! This has been such a long process, but we could not be any more excited to start this new chapter.
