Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a great week.
I most certainly did, I’m still coming down from a Malta high. Fortunately but unfortunately, I’m headed back to Florence to face a brutal two weeks of finals. But there is a light at the end of the intimidating, sleepless black hole of tests in front of me. I am leaving for London, Dublin and then Amsterdam traveling for a week before I leave Europe for the semester, oh how time flies!
As for the outfit, Italy is still pretty warm, taking into consideration that I’m from the Midwest. I love layering more than anything in style, but not to the extent that I’m willing to sweat half to death roughing out fall fashion.
So, in the midst of a “what the heck do I wear” crisis, sprung a creative solution. Rather than use a woolen sweater to style layers, I started with a base of a light chambray shirt. Then, layered a basic, striped T-shirt over (which ended up looking like a bad fashion fad from the early 2000s). But when I proceeded to add my trust leather layer, it looked perfect. Style without the heat-stroke.
