Sanibel Island, Florida

Stripes on Sanibel Island

Sponsored by Zappos

We spent the last week on Sanibel Island, Florida (near Fort Meyers). Wherever we went in this state, we were constantly told “you need to go to Sanibel!” We listened and are so glad we did. Dreamy beaches, tiny cafes and gorgeous views is what Sanibel Island is made of.

Despite the fact that our trip was 50% storms, we still had a few chances to explore and spend some time in the sun. It gave me a chance to finally wear this gorgeous dress! I know that statement sleeves are a big trend right now, but am I the only one that think too much sleeve action looks a little overkill?! I found this dress and the sleeve detail is statement making, but not too over the top. It really is the perfect summer dress. It is made out of a very comfortable and forgiving jersey fabric which is always a plus! It can just be thrown into a bag and is easy to wear for traveling. Love it!

I know I’ve said this before, but with us being in a new city every few days, online shopping has to be done very strategically. I have been shopping almost strictly from Zappos because of their super-quick shipping that always beats me to my next destination.
