Something To Smile About

I have to say, February 2017 has already been such an eventful month (hence why you may have seen less blog posts from me than normal). We bought my dream car (a BMW Z4 convertible in case you are wondering), upgraded to Glam-V 2.0, Added our puppy, Nova, to the family and opened up an official office for Everly and hired on some great people to be a part of it. It has been crazy, but we feel so blessed that all of our dreams are coming true, we just didn’t think it would all happen all within two weeks.

With all the good that’s going on, I decided to take the jump and take action on something I’ve always wanted to do: perfect my smile. I had braces back in the day – not so glamorous – and that fixed my smile. But with that being almost a decade ago, I noticed that I have some shifting going on that I’m not so thrilled about. Of course, this was pointed out to me just months before my wedding and it has really bothered me ever since.

So when we were in Nashville for New Years, I went straight to Smile Direct HQ to start the year off right, taking active steps towards a better, whiter and straighter smile with their invisible teeth aligners and whitening kit.

I actually have a bit of a fear of the dentist but walking into Smile Direct, it was noticeably different. A chic, modern and minimal space that was incredibly friendly at the same time welcomed me. There was no putty to take my molds, but rather a mess-free electronic scanner. They also have an option where you can take molds at home and send them in so it is all online. I can’t wait to update you all in a few months with the results!

Each week, you get a new tray sent to you that you switch out to gradually straighten your smile.

In this picture I am wearing them and you can’t even tell. You simply take them out to eat and drink anything that isn’t water.

This is their on the go whitening system that I love. You just apply the gel to your teeth after you brush them and it works wonders (especially for us coffee addicts). I do it right before I go to bed.

You can use code ‘WHATMAKESMESMILE‘ for 50% off your impressions kit! Have any of you ever used invisible teeth aligners before? I’d love to hear your experience.

As always, thank you for reading.
