Silk’n Skin

<< Wearing a Make Me Chic Romper c/o (similar and only $25 from Make Me Chic) >>

Summer is in full force and our wedding is weeks away, so now more than ever it’s important for me to have silky, hairless skin.

If we’re having a bit of real talk, shaving is annoying and time-consuming. I feel like I’m always missing a spot, I cut myself, my razor is dull or the blade falls off (read: not fun). All of these little inconveniences really add up to be something that can get in the way of my busy life. Especially when we are knee-deep in wedding details and getting ready to move.

I’ve been wanting to try laser hair removal for the longest time but I found it a bit scary and really expensive. So naturally, I put it off.

So when the Silk’n Flash & Go went on sale at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I knew I had to give it a try. I don’t know why, but I’m typically pretty apprehensive of typing new things like this. Not going to lie, I made Zach try it first. But this is really so simple to use and has none of the intimidation factor that typical laser hair removal has, or the cost!

I started using this beautiful technology the day I got it! You are supposed to shave your legs and then with no lotions on, give yourself a treatment. The darker your skin is, the lower intensity you should use. I used a 2 or 3. I gave myself treatments on my legs, arms and underarms and even though I’m only on my third treatment, I can see less and less hair growing back. Happy dance! Because seriously, I got better things to worry about than hair, you with me?

Sterling was super curious about the fan noise it made!

Join the Silk’n not shaven revolution. Can’t wait until I do 5 more treatments and I’m good to go. I have zero problem to saying goodbye to slicing myself in the shower.

As always, thank you for reading.

This post was sponsored by Silk’n, but all opinions are my own.
