Revisiting Olive + Blush
It seems like every place we end up is better than the last. We started our adventure with a night in St. Louis, followed by a week in Nashville and then last week we spent a week on the Alabama Coast and we fell in love. A bit more sunshine, slightly higher temperatures and a healthy dose of Southern hospitality (along with a side of not-so-healthy comfort foods) made us want to never leave. We have to head back north for the holidays and are currently in New Orleans for a few days before the long drive home.
Even the most neutral dresser (like me) can’t help but break out pretty hues in a vibrant place like Gulf Shores, even in the off season. I scooped up this $19 blouse while I was there and revisited one of my favorite hue combos: olive and blush. There is something that is so lovely about it. A rugged and military-inspired green with a uber feminine blush just works so well, especially in a simple silhouette like this. Tortoise sunglasses and a floral print blouse combine for a extra dose of personality.
