Preppy & Printed + WIWW

IMG_7592 - Version 3 Chino pants and turtlenecks are two of the most classic shapes in a woman’s wardrobe. I love classic silhouettes, I mean, they never went out of season for a reason – right? But full on classics can be a bit of a bore – no originality, spunk or je ne sais quoi element. That’s simply just not me.

Because of the timelessness of the shapes, I felt the liberty to play with pattern. When you think of plaid and stripes, your first thought most likely isn’t to pair them but on a minimal body and with a cohesive color scheme, it can be pulled off without a hitch.

Seriously though. THOSE SHOES. Absolutely fantastic. What a great compliment to the pattern mixing of the stripes with the contrasting plaid. But those shoes, like those couldn’t be any more perfect for this outfit. I’m in love.
