Being from the Midwest originally, I am simply not used to warm weather. Sure, I’ve experienced it for three or so months out of the year, but never like this. Now that we are traveling full-time and tend to hover in places where the sun shines.
I’ve also learned in the last few months that I love layers. I don’t really like showing too much skin and I like to keep things classy, which is surprisingly difficult in a hot place like Florida. So I turned to Zappos to get some chic summery staples that still make me feel pulled together, even in 90 degrees.
I fell in love with this shirtdress (that’s on sale for $62). I am convinced that it is the easiest way to look chic. So here is your polished summer look formula:
Shirtdress + Belt + Wedges/Pumps + Structured Bag + Chic Sunglasses
These wedges continue to be one of my favorites because I can explore new places all day long and get some lift. They are so comfortable. Well worth the price for the quality!
Lastly, I’ve had my eye on this watch for what seems like an eternity. I finally pulled the trigger and it is such a refreshing timepiece. It’s white square face looks almost menswear inspired which I love. It also comes in rose gold!
If you follow me on Snapchat, you would know we were only in Boca Raton for a few days. Of course, it was there that I decided I needed an elevated day dress to explore the pretty ritzy city. Thanks to Zappos incredibly quick shipping, I was able to order, get and wear it in Boca Raton. I am obsessed with just how fuss free their whole website and shipping experience is. Because for real, couldn’t we all use a bit more simplicity and reliability in out lives?
