Personal Details Within Your Capsule Closet
As you may have noticed, I’ve really emphasized my capsule closet and virtually every single post on this blog has some tie to my paired down and super versatile closet. This is how I started blogging and this is what I came back to.
The one question I’ve had a lot is how to personalize your capsule closet to be more tailored to each and every person’s individual style and tastes. I think of your clothes as your base, but accessories are what truly create style and make a look your own.
I am constantly on the hunt for jewelry that is classic and timeless, yet is personal and affordable. That is exactly what I found in Sequin NYC.

Sleek and classic pendant necklaces are an absolute must-have. That is why in my Capsule Closet series, I say that you should have one in both silver and gold, in varying lengths.
I already have a gold pendant with a longer chain that creates more of a care-free and slightly bohemian vibe. I knew I was on the hunt for a shorter, silver piece.
Some pendants are just plain, some are monogrammed – but this, I had never seen before. I love zodiac signs, but this necklace really elevates the idea of zodiac sign jewelry. Instead of using words or the symbol, they used the star correlations, complete with jeweled accents. Seriously, I was blown away by the unique take on a very popular piece and how stunning it is in person (for under $60).
I’m a textbook Cancer, so I love wearing this piece to represent that.
