Morning Coffee + Daily Rituals
I was addicted to coffee long before moving to Seattle. My true love for coffee started when I lived abroad in Florence. It became a daily ritual, starting each day by stopping at the same little Italian cafe and getting “un latte con soya.” This habit followed me back to the states, got me through a lot of early mornings in college and still jump starts each day.
Now that I run businesses of my own, keeping organized is an absolute must. Between the blog, my styling company, Every (my jewelry line) and Third & Loom, starting your day with a clear idea of what needs to happen that day, the next, the following week and within the month is imperative. Needless to say, I buy coffee in bulk at ShopRite.
Consistency is the key to success. Even though I work for myself, I still wake up at 7-ish every morning, make coffee and plan my day and content. I multitask and work all day on different things, photo shoots and different meetings, but always finish each night with a workout. Even though no two days are alike, keeping those bookends the same helps to keep me on track, and to be honest, sane.
Have you ever wondered how I keep everything organized and plan my blog content? Well, here it is: a jumbo calendar that I use PostIt notes to keep blog content straight, my daily planner that coordinates meetings (that comes with me everywhere) and back in my home office, I put more PostIt notes on my big Prada sign that hangs above my desk to keep track of Everly orders and shipments.
For all fellow coffee addicts, now at ShopRite, buy 2 participating coffee products and 1 participating creamer and get a free box of Truvia Natural Sweetener 40ct now thru 3/12, while supplies last.
As always, thank you for reading.
