Lace + Cape

img_8242

Ever since I got this WAYF cape, I’ve been longing for the first fall-like day to come along so I could wear it. The light camel color with the dark brown enclosure had a very equestrian feel to it, but I decided to pair it with a romantic lace top and flares for a bit of a 70s feel.

The double dose of volume feels dramatic in all the right ways. Plus, I’ve officially found my favorite fall lipstick! I’ve been a MAC snob for years and refused to believe anything could be as good… until I tried the new matte collection from Dior. It goes on silky smooth but lasts all day, without any dryness or caking! The ‘Ambitious’ color is seriously flattering.

  1. The cape looks great on you. And adding that touch of lace with it, makes it even more vintage and I love the idea. Also the flared denims totally takes the outfit from classy-vintage to chic-casual. I’M SO HOOTING FOR CAPES THIS SEASON. 🙂
