Now that I have been at my internship for a couple of weeks, I feel like I have some creative liberty in terms of what I wear. The dress code at Nordstrom varies pretty dramatically based on which department you are in. I am placed in juniors which means even jeans are A-ok for the office.

But for me, I think of this 8 week internship as an interview for my permanent placement. I wouldn’t wear jeans to an interview, so I’m trying to keep them at a minimum during my 9-5 also. No matter what I wear, polished and creative is always the goal.
