Italist Review

This post is sponsored by Italist and Shopping Links, but all opinions are 100% my own.

Golden Goose and the Starter sneaker

After a 10 days of intense travels and a weekend of being sick, I am finally back. These next few days are a straight grind for me and I am craving easy and sleek looks that are chic and allow me to put in super long days in the office. This look exactly that, especially with these Golden Goose sneakers. I tried out a new online retailer, Italist and will be sharing my thoughts with you today. So here is my Italist.com opinion and you can also find other reviews here.

I had heard of Italist before (and that’s why I’m doing an Italist review for you all), but never got anything from them until now. Thanks to a innovative business model, they are able to bring the customers brand new designer merchandise at up to 30% less than average market prices (insert clapping emoji). My kind of place! They delivered these very quick (especially considering they ship internationally).

I have a sweet spot for anything designer, I lived in Florence, Italy for 6 months when I was 20 and I was excited to try the first online retailer dedicated solely luxury designers (like Golden Goose). I was really interested that they offer a lot of limited and exclusive pieces, but at the best prices (and the quickest turnaround). Because let’s be honest, aren’t we all a little impatient to get something we splurge on, online?!

They also carry some of my other favoritesValentinoGucci, Celine and Givenchy. My initial Italist opinion is that it is a unique destination that feels more curated – and dare I say inspired compared to other online retailers and the biggest sticking point is that they have a broader range available with super competitive prices.

I have been going back through my closet and reinvesting in the pieces I love. Recently, that was a pair of sleek and street style inspired white tennis shoes. I bought a $20 pair years ago and have since thought sneakers are sneakers. I seriously couldn’t have been more wrong. From the minute I put on these Golden Goose sneakers from Italist on, I literally had more of a pep in my step. They are beyond comfortable, look so amazing styled and I fell in love with them instantly.

To get out the door fast on a 16 hour work day of shooting look books and training in employees, a black knit, coated skinny jeans and white sneakers was the perfect formula for staying comfortable and look chic. You will undoubtedly see me styling these all of fall, winter and spring on Instagram.
