As many of you may already know, we moved out of our apartment in Downtown Seattle this summer and made a choice that overnight changed everything. We sold about 90% of what we owned and purchased an RV.
The last three months have been long, but have been spent turning the RV into our home. For me, it was like designing a tiny house. Just because we are choosing to live in less square feet so we can enjoy life more, doesn’t mean those 200 square feet have to be dated, unappealing or basic. Oh no.
The Glam-V has been redone from top to tire, leaving nothing the same. Lots of paint, creative solutions and hard work later we are almost done! Right now, we have been just adding finishing touches, like this gallery wall.
We got married on August 11th and just got our wedding pictures back (which I also can’t wait to share!) I turned to Framebridge for gorgeous, custom frames to decorate one of the only empty walls we have in the Glam-V.
In alignment with our monochromatic and mixed metal color scheme, I opted for frames that were a dynamic mix of sleek, silver, modern frames and glamorous gold ones. Before ordering, I planned things out old school with a sketch pad and measured out exactly where each photo would go. But like virtually everything in this project, we had to change gears during the execution.
First off, when you get your frames, measure out a space on the floor the size of your wall and play around with different possible arrangements.
We used a mix of shallow nails and heavy duty double-sided tape to secure our frames on the wall, even during road trips.
I love the mirrored frames because they look so high end, but aren’t really a mirror, so aren’t heavy.
