Best Cleansing Cloths for Troubled-Skin

Alright, ladies. I’m constantly trying new products for my seemingly always troubled skin. Traveling full-time and changing climates constantly certainly doesn’t help. But what always does, is getting your skin actually clean and free of makeup at the end of each day. That is a lot easier said than done (especially if you use a fair bit of foundation and concealer, like me to hide your skin woes). It’s a pretty vicious cycle actually.

I started noticing that I actually wasn’t getting my skin fully clean when I’d wake up oily. I would use makeup wipe after wipe and never seem to get it all off. A follower actually DMed me after chatting about this on my Instagram Story and said that Olay Daily Facials Daily Clean 4-in-1 Water Activated Cleansing Cloths were her go-to and I had to try.

Olay Daily Facials is all about getting your skin truly clean and providing the base for beautiful skin. I thought I was getting my skin clean, but I was so wrong. My old skin routine included wipes, soap, cleanser, toner, lotion and drying lotion along with scrubs and masks periodically. Not only was it expensive, it was ineffective and time-consuming. So naturally I was so ready to give the 4-in-1 system a try. It does the work of a scrub, toner, mask and cleanser, all in one water-activated cloth. That means that you can have them anywhere, throw them in an overnight bag with none of the fuss of liquids for travel.

I have to say, it takes a lot to wow me with a skincare product. I am not easily impressed because nothing seems to help. But let me tell you, I was 100% wowed by Olay Daily Facials. I tried two tests so I can share just how great it is to all of you.

The first thing that shocked me is I wiped off my makeup “100%” with a makeup wipe and then used Olay Daily Facials. I was so horrified when I saw so much makeup coming off. That means that I haven’t been getting my skin truly clean for years now. Olay Daily Facials truly is what they say, a better clean.

All you do is wet the cloth with water, rub together to lather, cleanse (even around the eyes to get all your eye makeup off), rinse and throw away. So simple. My skin feels so clean after using Olay Daily Facials that I can even go makeup-free for that #NoMakeupRequired beach look!

I also did a little blot test two days in a row (hence why I’m wearing two different outfits in this post. The first day, I cleansed with just a makeup wipe before bed and used a blot sheet, only to find my skin was still super greasy (it’s the blot sheet to the right below). The following day, I used Olay Daily Facials and there was nothing on the blot sheet! It’s shown below on the left.

Did I mention how perfect these are for traveling? No liquids and travel bottles of toner, cleanser and lotion filling up your carry on. Plus, I feel like I save so much time by not having to do four separate steps (and money!)

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Olay . The opinions and text are all mine.

As always, thank you for reading.

      Hi Amber,

No, not at all! Which is great. They don’t leave your skin oily either. I found them for $6.99 at Target, plus, I cut the cloths in half so they last twice as long!

Hi Amber, i i’m so glad I came across you today! Yo in your opinion, would you say these wipes would be suitable for sensitive skin, as well?
Thank you for thIs review, cheers!

      Hi Daphne,

Yes, absolutely. They are not harsh and don’t burn at all!

Hi there!! I would like to know if the wipes have a strong alcohol smell that tends to burn the eyes when enhaled and sting the skin a little?

      Hi LJ,

That’s what I love most – no, not even a little bit. I use it to take off my eye makeup (and have undoubtably gotten some in my eyes) and no burn!
