2 Months Later – Silk’n Review
A few months back (see my first blog post here), I decided to try the Silk’n Flash & Go after being fed up with endless shaving. To be honest, due to my genetic makeup and being for lack of a better term a “mutt,” I get darker and thick hair on my legs that grows back fast. So anything claiming to even slow the growth, I was down to try.
So, just as the instructions stated, I have been giving myself treatments every two weeks on freshly shaved legs. The reviews online mimic the instructions that state it takes about 6 weeks (3 treatments) for this beautiful technology to kick in.
Treatments are easy to do yourself, at home, but are a bit lengthy. Just like going to see a professional, it look me about 1.5 – 2 hours to do a treatment on my legs (granted, my legs are pretty long and there is a lot of surface to cover). But I would just turn on my favorite T.V. show and do as the instructions say.
It was right after my wedding that I started to see some change. It was exciting! I went about 5 days without shaving and realized that it had been that long and the hair was growing back less and less.
Now, I’ve given myself 6 treatments and I now only have to shave once a week! That was exactly what I was hoping for with all of our upcoming travels (and most of them are less than a week long).
I think that for the money, it is a luxurious, yet cost-effective way to control unwanted hair in your own home. What a beautiful new way to get rid of unwanted hair forever. Yes please to being stubble-free.
